An unfortunate typo involving Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is gaining a lot of attention on social media. Oops.

WTOC 11, a local television station in Savannah, made a big mistake in flubbing the name of Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. in a broadcast chyron on Wednesday, swapping out the X at the end of his name for an S. The anatomical mistake was inevitable given Penix’s high-profile job.

Anyone who has ever seen, heard or said Michael Penix Jr. 's name has probably noticed that his last name is just one letter off another very specific word. Penix has lived his entire life with that name so there is no doubt he's aware of this fact.
