The Liberty Flames softball team has made the 2800 mile trip to Eugene, Oregon to play the 16th seeded Oregon Ducks in the best of three super regional with game one Friday at 10pm. It is the Flames first ever trip to the super regionals.

Liberty shocked the NCAA softball tournament by defeating No. 1 seed Texas A&M, but it's not satisfied heading to Oregon in the super regionals.

The celebration lasted late into the night on May 18 after No. 16 Oregon rallied to defeat Stanford in their NCAA Softball Regional elimination game at Jane Sanders Stadium. But it didn’t last much longer than that.
