The Minnesota Timberwolves have a promising center in Joan Berringer, who came in from the 2025 NBA Draft class, and the front office is ecstatic.

The Timberwolves decided to bolster their frontcourt depth with their first pick of this year’s NBA draft, selecting forward/center Joan Beringer on Wednesday. Beringer, at 6-foot-11, most recently played in Slovenia and averaged 5.

Beringer lands on a team with a player who knows exactly what it is like to come over to the United States from France at a young age.
