More than 30,000 fans showed up for Seattle's Club World Cup opener on Sunday. But Sounders fans weren't all pleased about the dynamic pricing for the tournament.

Fans from over 130 countries have purchased nearly 1.5 million tickets for the Club World Cup that kicked off last weekend in its newly expanded format across the United States, FIFA said on Tuesday.

The newly expanded FIFA Club World Cup in the U.S. has seen over 1.5 million tickets sold across 130 countries. Despite some sparsely attended matches, FIFA aims to generate excitement for the 2026 World Cup amid past concerns of low fan turnout during Copa America.

There is a full slate of matches for the FIFA Club World Cup on Tuesday, June 17, starting with a contest at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. where Borussia Dortmund takes on Fluminense.
