The rain will continue off and on through Saturday in most parts of the county with a brief respite Wednesday, the San Diego office of the National Weather Service said.

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Much of Southern California will be under a flood watch this week and San Diego officials are prepping for the rain and reminding residents that sandbags are available.

A Flood Advisory was issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) at 6:19 a.m. from the Riverside/San Diego County line south to the Mexican border, particularly the coastal areas and valleys.
