While Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s oldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, 13, is scheduled to tour with her mom for much of the Cowboy Carter performances, Rumi Carter also made a surprise appearance at the first LA show. During Beyoncé’s performance of her hit song “Protector,” Rumi stood in front of her mom and allowed her excitement to shine through.

So far, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour has been a fabulous family affair. Daughters Rumi and Blue Ivy have each made cameos on the stage as her backup (and front-of-stage, per Blue for “Déjà Vu!”) dancers. It’s also been seven-year-old Rumi’s onstage debut.
