Brenda Cropper, 66, died at a hospital Friday, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III.
A woman who was reported to have died as a result of the tragic fire at the Gabriel House in Fall River, Massachusetts remains in critical condition, the District Attorney's Office said Friday.
Brenda Cropper, 66, died at a hospital after being in critical condition all week after the fire erupted on Sunday, officials said.
The Bristol County DA reported the update Friday saying, "it was due to a miscommunication with a medical agency."
Brenda Cropper’s family describes her as a “tiny little thing” with a big smile who made friends easily. Cropper stood about about 4 feet, 11 inches tall, and her daughter Crystal Macura said her mother loved nothing more than her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, watching old TV shows, and cans of soda.
After spending days in critical condition, Brenda Cooper, 66, succumbed to injuries she sustained on July 16, officials said.
A 10th victim has died from the fire that ripped through a Massachusetts assisted-living facility earlier this week, officials said Thursday, as records and accounts from staff raise concerns about conditions at Gabriel House before the blaze. ‘You don’t come back from that’: Fall River paramedics speak for 1st time after Gabriel House fire
