The Dallas Mavericks could use some luck in the NBA draft lottery this month, especially after one of the most turbulent seasons in franchise history.

Despite the season being over for both the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks, they remain one of the hottest topics in the NBA. Most people still cannot get over the Luka Doncic trade, where Dallas sent the Slovenian superstar to Hollywood for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a future first-round pick.

Doncic didn't miss a beat after being traded to the Lakers in February. His 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.6 steals per game averages were all in line with what he contributed to Dallas in the first half of the season.
