Opener Gongadi Trisha of India became the first person in the history of the Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup to hit a century. Her 59-ball unbeaten 110 in the process helped the defending champions trounce Scotland in their Group 1 Super Six game in Kuala Lumpur.

India’s G Trisha etched her name in the history books after becoming the first-ever batter to score a hundred in the tournament. She got to the landmark in the match against Scotland at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur.

The Indian team is the third to progress into the semifinals after Australia and South Africa in the U19 Women's World Cup 2025. India cruised into the last four after their win over Bangladesh in their first fixture in Super Six Group 1.
