Toronto Raptors General Manager, Bobby Webster, has been named Masai Ujiri’s successor as Head of Basketball Operations.

The Toronto Raptors named Bobby Webster as the team's head of basketball operations and agreed to a new contract with him on Monday, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.

The Toronto Raptors have done what was expected and extended the contract of general manager Bobby Webster, making him the unquestioned head of basketball operations, while not formally hiring a president to replace Masai Ujiri.

Masai Ujiri's first hire will replace him with the Toronto Raptors. Bobby Webster will reportedly be promoted from team general manager to president of basketball operations, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. Webster has been with the team since 2013, and was Ujiri's first hire, per Charania.

"This team is his, now, to lead and I know we all look forward to what comes next," MLSE CEO Keith Pelley said in a statement.
