The New York Knicks gutted out a 121-113 win at home in Game 4 of their second-round NBA Playoffs series against the Boston Celtics on Monday. They bounced back from a momentum-shifting Game 3 loss in which they trailed by as many as 30 points.
Teams leading 3-1 in the NBA playoffs have won 95.6% of the time, with only 13 teams in 293 tries coming back to win three straight games.
Mikal Bridges represents something less tangible to the Knicks that became more relevant Monday with news that Giannis Antetokounmpo might become available via trade.
The Greek Freak would be one of the most sought-after trade candidates of all time, and the Knicks don't really have the draft capital to allow the Bucks to rebuild. Then again, Milwaukee doesn't own many of its own draft picks, so tanking is not a viable strategy.
