Jan 28, 2021 · I have an AIB 6900 xt and I think the bottom fans do help. It gets at the hot junction only up to lower 70s during stress test. Though I couldn’t find the Meshify 2 XL and are using Be Quiet Dark Base 900 with two Noctua industrial 120 mm fans on the bottom by the PSU shroud.

Dec 2, 2022 · To me it sounds like your windows install is to blame for the poor performance. High temps are subjective based on case air flow, cooling gear and thermal paste. I use arctic mx-5 ATM and have mx6 for the next time I remove the water block.

Oct 7, 2021 · Your 6900 though is bringing air in from a different flow and frankly needs for air. I could keep coffee hot on my glass panel before I took it off and everything else I have is liquid cooled. Yes I didn't cool the VGA right away, I wanted to make sure I didn't need to RMA my card.

Jul 29, 2022 · The airflow should be fine, front is intake with the rad, bottom is intake, top is exhaust as is the rear. So, any undervolting or anything? Overvolting big Navi is actually preferred if you've got the cooling and power available for it.

I know like every RTX 3090 gets at least 80s in RAM temps and at least high 70s for hot spot temp. Some far worse. Is the RX 6900 XT much better as it has less power draw in terms of thermals for Hot spot, RAM and GPU temp??
